By downloading, installing, or using Athanify ("the app"), you agree to the following Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Use of the App
- Athanify is an Islamic prayer companion app that provides prayer times, Qibla direction, prayer tracking, sleep stories, and related features.
- You must be at least 13 years of age to use the app.
- You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose and in compliance with applicable laws.
Prayer Times Disclaimer
Prayer times are calculated using established astronomical algorithms based on your location. While we strive for accuracy, times may vary slightly depending on your device's location accuracy, calculation method selected, and local conditions. Athanify should be used as a helpful tool alongside your local mosque timings and community guidance.
Qibla Direction Disclaimer
Qibla direction is calculated using your device's compass and GPS. Accuracy depends on your device's sensors and may be affected by magnetic interference. We recommend calibrating your device's compass and verifying the direction when possible.
Subscriptions and Purchases
- Athanify offers optional premium features through in-app subscriptions.
- Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- Refund requests must be directed to Apple, as all payments are processed by the App Store.
Intellectual Property
All content in Athanify — including but not limited to the app design, icons, animations, audio content, and code — is the property of Athanify and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app's content without prior written permission.
Islamic Content
The app provides Islamic content such as hadiths, duas, and educational material for informational purposes. This content is sourced from established Islamic references. Athanify does not provide religious rulings (fatwas). For specific religious guidance, please consult a qualified Islamic scholar.
User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device.
- You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
- You are responsible for any data usage or charges incurred by your device while using the app.
Limitation of Liability
Athanify is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. This includes, but is not limited to, inaccuracies in prayer times or Qibla direction.
Termination
We reserve the right to discontinue the app or any of its features at any time without notice. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
